Meet Our Executive Team

David Gillis, CEO/President

As Freedom's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and President, Dave oversees Freedom's day-to-day operations as well as the company's business and technical strategies. He facilitated the acquisition of Freedom from its then parent company, 2020 Communications, Inc., in 2005 after working as the parent company's Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Dave is an entrepreneur that has held various positions throughout his career that provided extensive management experience in operations, information technology, marketing, sales and service. His first experience in the healthcare environment began in 1978 and extended nearly twenty years; originally at the independent and privately-held Metric Medical Laboratories and later in the publicly-held Universal Standard Medical Laboratories.

Today, having worked within the healthcare and informatics industry over the last 25 years, Dave continues to focus much of his time working to develop new and innovative products and services to support Freedom's ever-growing customer list.

Michael Wesley, CTO/Software Engineering Manager

Michael P. Wesley brings to Freedom over 30 years of computer systems engineering. Throughout his extensive career, Mike has managed and developed teams to the successful implementation of numerous computer applications, large and small. During his career, Mike served as a member of the Data Processing Detachment of the United States Army and later as a Database Administrator at Oracle.

Having served in the technical services manager capacity in both the military and fortune 500 companies, he has administered and developed programs in over 12 different development platforms and languages over the years. As the developer of the RICAR System, Mike is also a shareholder and oversees all development projects and applicable staff.
